Hi: Carmel Clown... Cecilia runs the CG. with an iron constitution. Calling the phone number at the CG. gets her or leave a message as it's off season for them. As far as the "Pitch-in, I love baked beans so if everyone brings 'em...I'm OK. Your favorite "Pot-lucky" (Legal) of course, is always welcome. There are 100's of local winerys and craft brew pubs to supply Fri nights sit-n-sip or your fave from home if they allow it across the border. Check out the links in the opening message for to-do things.
This is our 12th. year and we just want a relaxed rally with lots of things to do or not!!! Our largest group was just shy of 50 trailers and no one went away hungry, except maybe to come back for more!!! All campers are subject to Co-Vid rules and reg's. Last years all Canadian rally was a one off I'm hoping.
Thanks to Iowa Dave for his help and message's. Alf

I'm also hoping the border will be open. Just got an email from Cecilia that my site & Don & Anne's in their Scamp (Sites 24 & 25) are reserved. We are also going to try for the Algonac, MI rally the week before.

Poised to make reservations as soon as March 1st gets here - just heard back from Cecilia (via email) that we can set something up then.
Aiming to stay Sept. 16-19. Yay!

I’ve taken a couple cans out to her in the past. Since it’s canned I’m willing to do it. However I’m no longer delivering any garlic as I don’t want to end up in root vegetable prison for crossing the border with any dirt other than what’s behind my ears. We have a reservation and so does Teresa. We’ve both had our second shot this past week so hoping we can cross the river and visit our Canadian friends.

You should have been nicer. My nurse said she hadn’t seen a nicer looking arm on an old
Guy I’m a long time and told me to get a granola bar and a bottle of water. Wait 15 minutes and head home. And I did.

Hey Alf and Mary:

Dennis and Maricelis here in Upstate NY (near Ithaca). We have put a deposit on a Escape 21 NE BUT it will be a long time...

We were wondering if we would be welcome (I am a Canadian - so love the NF and Niagria on the Lake Area). if we stay at a local hotel, would it be ok for us to join the event this fall?

Thanks,

Denns

Hi: DennisJGrey... WELCOME to the world of Escapes. Thanks for the link. I sent an email!!! When the border was fully open we have had lots of campers from NY state join us. A fellow 21' camper from Oswego, and a nice couple and their 21' from Frewsburg come to mind. All are due to Co-Vivid rules at the time... pic's from 2017. It was a good year!!! Thanks for the pose Iowa Dave & Jake. Alf

Hi Alf
I have a few photos from that year too but they are on my iMac and my technological expertise is lacking to be able to download them. How can it be that my 13 year old grandson can run my electronic equipment but doesn't know how an 18 speed bicycle works? We both need lessons from each other. Keeping my tow chains crossed that we get to go to The Falls in the Fall. Weather has moderated here and we are looking forward to Spring. stay safe. don't forget to remind visitors that they can stay right there in the motel plus there are bed and breakfast places on the parkway. but if you stay in the B and B she does charge you to park and visit.
Oh i guess i just did,
Iowa Dave

We are so bummed we can't make it this year. We have an East Coast trip planned to coincide with a dear friends sons wedding out on Block Island that weekend. And to think I have my one night free pass I won at the raffle in 2019. I wonder if Cecilia will honor it at a future date. I also have been gathering items for the blue tarp. Looks like that will have to wait also. Where does the time go. We certainly hope the border restrictions are lifted so all of you can have a wonderful meet up. I'll miss throwing logs on the fire and we won't be there with our giant tin of candy. Oh well, maybe we'll see everyone in 2022. Stay safe.
