OCG 2015 Bandon, Oregon

As many of you are aware, there is a fgrv rally from July 16-July 18 at Bullard's Beach State Park, Bandon Oregon. It appears that there are going to be 11 Escapes. The number appears to be down, but I would guess they're Escaping elsewhere. If you are in the neighborhood, do drop by. The more the merrier.

We'll be in A34, arriving Thursday.

We will be getting our 21 about 2 weeks too late to bring it to this year's rally.

However, since we live in Bandon we will be over to visit on Friday and / or Saturday.

Well, I'd love to be there, but my Escape is in Alaska & will just be leaving Denali during the rally. Have a great time!

I have a friend that lives nearby and I've suggested she pop in as she's rather intrigued by the trailers. What's the protocol for doing so? I've never been to a trailer (or any type) of rally, so am a bit clueless about that. Thanks.

There is an organized tour thing on Saturday from 10 to 3 when people expect visitors in their trailers to view how folks have modified from stock. Pretty much just stop by and wander around anytime also generally works.

At this particular gathering there is a scheduled "open house" on saturday - before noon for A loop and after for B & C. Most people are used to showing their rigs off at Bandon.

Sad to say, we will miss it this year for the first time in 10 years. Love it, hope to be there next year! You all have fun!

You two too will be missed. I am in Yreka at the Yreka RV Park heading for Bullard's Beach.
They have pull-thru and full hookups. Fortunately I arrived and got hooked up before a short but dramatic thunder shower. I am not sure but I thought I saw an Escape 5'er off in the distance ahead of me northbound on I-5. Hopefully so and hopefully Bandon Bound.
