Hmmm, very tempting, Camp Hale has been on our radar for awhile now, but have not yet been there, other than a quick drive by. I'm going to see if I can make this one happen!

Do you think 2024 might be close to the same dates? I cannot make it for 2023 but want to put a "save the date" for 2024. Camp Hale is beautiful. We used to do the road bike Courage classic 3 day bike ride and that was one of the places I always wanted to go back to and spend some time.

Over the years we've tended to have the Rendezvous in lateish July, so the 2024 event will probably be around the same time. Maybe even the same place.

"...open to all fiberglass trailer owners" might be a bit of an overstatement.
From the linked webpage:
COVID:
While it is a personal choice to be vaccinated (or not), to keep the Rendezvous safe as possible we need to view it from a public health perspective. Therefore, if you’ve chosen to not be vaccinated, we ask that you not attend and look forward to seeing you at the 2024 Rendezvous.
So, it's only open to those FG trailer owners who've either been vaxxed or are liars.

Isn’t honesty a character trait that good men carry with pride?
Fortunately there are still honorable men out there. Both vaccinated and not.

Thanks for the heads up! Putting this in calendar as potential. Would be bit of whirlwind trip as will be finishing up attending 3-day dog event in Maquoketa IA on 7-16. Think we would be able to finish early on 16th, stop by home near Central City IA and then make it to Camp Hale by 18th. As long as we have the energy..... :-)

We're drifting into political stuff. Knock it off. Stay on topic.

Not trying to be political at all.
My point is .. People go to rallies to meet other folks who have a similar trailer and to learn from others. This forum since I been here has always been all inclusive and friendly
Allowing a post of a event that excludes any class of people should not be allowed here in the first place ,because it is divisive. And the Rocky Mountain Rally is the only Rally that I know of that is openly excluding a class of people from their rally.
Is that really what this forum wants to support.?
The Rally organizers would have been better to leave the rally open to all and those folks who are concerned about one group or another could simply stay home. The fact that they chose to un invite a certain user group is in its self a political statement and thus another reason to not allow it on this forum.
Good luck to all.

You are complaining to the wrong people. The EscapeForum is a clearing house for information. We make no inference to whether it is correct or not. Your complaint is with the organizers of the gathering. Please take your complaints to them.

I come to this site to “escape” the continuous bs of all of today’s noise. If I wanted to listen to someone complain about Candy or the correct Doneness of Toast I have a million sources to find the exact answers I prefer.
Thanks again Donna for trying to keep the noise down.
PS: I just spent the last 9 days in bed gasping for oxygen like a Goldfish out of water. Not Fun!

Hey Willy
Hope you’re doing better. I was through Shueyville yesterday on our way home. Had a good friend who lived there until he passed last winter. The Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery is only a few miles down 965 from Shueyville and has a great brunch and some nice small plate offerings. Their bourbon has won some pretty significant awards and their complimentary wine tasting is popular too.

'just a reminder that if you're looking for some cool (temperature) camping this summer, you might consider attending the Rocky Mountain Fiberglass Rendezvous.
