Thumbs down Trouble contacting NK’MIP RV PARK

Anyone else having trouble with booking a site at the Rally in Osoyoos? I've tried online and leaving messages on phone. Nothing. Received one perfunctory email telling me to leave a name and a credit card number - no word of availabilities, pick a site or anything. Seems nobody is home. ??

Not my experience in the last 3 weeks. Phoned twice and each time the phone was answered. Try again.

Have the campground map open so you can see where the campsite quoted as available is.

I booked November 2 via telephone on my first call with no wait time. That was not my experience in previous years. I did try to book on line but that failed. I was told that the online system would not allow May 2023 bookings as it was too far in the future. I just checked it again it appears to be working.

Hi Ron
Jim Tischer, Woodland CA here.
Would like to book in for Osoyoos Rally 2023 for our 2016 Escape 21 and next-door-neighbor’s 2019 but want to make sure the rally will be held this year without an official announcement yet from ETI.
From past years, it looks like a 5/25 - 5/29 reservation would be appropriate.1. Does this square with info you have available? 2. Where in the CG will NK MIP stash the Escape crowd? Thanks & hope you are well. Best Regards, Jim Tischer

Hi Jim,

There's a thread "Escape Rally in the Valley 2023".

The campground doesn't make an attempt to group Escape trailers all together. I think that would be impossible given that they also have long term clients.

So you have two choices, or at least until it starts to fill up, choose an area that you'd like and then talk to them. Asking directly seems to be the most effective if you're looking to have some choice in where you end up.

The campground is large and extended. A lot of folks are attracted by being close to the water. Normally, with two kayaks, we would be also. But some of them are a fair distance from the clubhouse and there is usually a fair bit of activity in the clubhouse and for 2023 we have a spot close to it.

Not Ron here, but will try to help. Those are the correct dates, People arrive all week but Thursday nite things start jumping, Friday and Saturday normally there is a happy hour and dinner for those 2 nites in that order. Bring a bike, the place is huge but easy to get around on a bike.We will be in #166, see you there.... Here is a link to the cg website

I called Monday and got straight through; site booked in less than 5 minutes. Mid-morning timeframe.
