2017 Info

I have started a new topic as the office is now bombarded with phone calls and I feel I need to clarify a few things with the 2017 mold change news.

I know it is a bit later than I mentioned, but on Thursday, March 24, I will post exterior photos of the 2017, 17' and 19'. I won't have the inside completed yet to show, but there isn't too much changing there. The interior layout is not changing on any of the models.

By the end of March, I will have a better idea as to when the 21' and 5.0 TA molds will be completed, however they are not too far behind the first two.

Customers with 17' or 19' completion dates starting in June will be able to opt for the 2017 design. If the 2017 design is selected, the 2017 base price and option list will apply. (2017 Options List will be available March 24)

We will begin releasing 2017 completion dates on April 1 (no fooling!)

Thank you for your patience!

Nice explanation, now for a prerecorded message with the same info and a few clicks of the transfer button on the phone and badda boom badda bing,
you got yourself some communication. And resultant time savings.

Good news that they are moving along and people now know that big order date.

Well just great! I don't even have my trailer built yet and yet I'm being told it's a classic. I equate a classic to something that's old, maybe good but old.

Classic definition: adjective, judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind.

We could use OBS instead of classic, like the pickups when they change.

Old body style.

In the words of the infamous Van Gogh:

"Nothing will take away from the fact the existing models are not great trailers. In fact, there is a likelihood that some will prefer the original features."

When will I learn?

If you have a trailer on order and opt for the 2017 model, will your original completion date stay the same or do you get bumped behind those getting the 2016 version?

Thanks for the update. Most appreciated.

You do not lose your spot. He answered you on the other thread. At least, I think so.

Customers with completion dates for 17's and 19's starting in June can choose which model without loosing their spot.

If customers with a completion date prior to June want to wait to see the 2017 model, they will have to forfeit their spot and reorder after April 1.

Will orders be taken for the 21' and 5.0 TA on April 1 as well?

How will the orders be taken? Over the phone with credit card, in person? I foresee a pileup...

Will there be a comprehensive list of what's changing from 2016 to 2017. I've been researching an Escape for awhile, and it would be nice to see a comprehensive list of everything that's changing.

I haven't ordered a trailer, but hopefully I will for 2017 (or maybe 2018 even). Looking forward to upgrading from our 1987 VW Westfalia campervan!

I am glad I don't have to consider all of this. The build sheet was difficult enough when I purchased. I'd blow a gasket over these decisions.
