What’s the advantage of acrylic? If they offered double paned I’d go for it.
I’m pretty sure he says “the advantage with this new chassis is we can go four season without having to use spray foam underneath”. I would guess that means they can build in insulation into the chassis cross frames which is pretty cool, I’m not fond of spray foam.

That’s not fair-Bigfoot shouldn’t have you working on Labor Day.

What is the percentage of Escape owners who were labor union members? Were any of us in the Glazers union? I was foundry and moulders union and
Amalgamated butcher workmen of the world. I believe in unions

It would be really nice if some of this stuff was taken elsewhere and leave this thread to those who are interested in factual information about the 23.

If you don’t see value in the electrical/solar package, the answer is simple; don’t buy it.
Perhaps if you detailed the elements of your back of the envelope analysis, your position might appear to be something more than a flippant comment.
Those who have been at this camper equipping thing for several years clearly see the value in the E23 offering. That was why I ordered one.

Congrats! And don’t be touchy, who cares what I or anyone else thinks anyhow? I’m looking forward to the reports from you early adopters. Unfortunately with Karl gone the community outreach has greatly declined so it’s hard to know what Escape is planning/thinking.

If the owners are looking to sell, chances are they aren't "planning/thinking" of anything.

I disagree... They should be pumping up to sell the company...And I think they are... For better or worse

Is the speculation that Karl left because they’re planning on selling the company, or is there other evidence?
FWIW looong time ago I worked ‘in the trades’. Manufacturing kind of thing similar to Escape, people coming and going was common as were sudden unexplained disappearances. He was there for five years which is about as long as people stay in such a job - but I don’t know anything about it otherwise.

I don’t intend this troll you, but I have to ask - did you call Escape and discuss the E23 with them? They have great people to help you. I don’t know if she is still there, but Melisa was a joy for us to converse with as we bought our 21C. She was straight forward and not “sale-sy” at all.

Black Tank location on E23

Appears they are using the same elevated toilet base / shower shell / low rise toilet as the other models. Looks as if it may be "above floor", as all other Escapes, and runs back under the cabinets toward the fridge, but with a 40 gal. (U.S.) capacity, I'm thinking maybe not as the wheel wells appear to be in that general area.
I was hoping black and gray tanks were going to be "under" the floor, but the toilet setup threw me a curve for the black.
Same question for gray and fresh if you know..........
|
Per ETI, the black tank is "under" the floor - like the gray/fresh tank on all other models........
