Thanks for the interview. It shows Gerda to be a woman of considerable strength and resolve. In contrast to some of the interviews that focus on the technical aspects of the trailer, in this one Gerda's personality came through. It was a refreshing change.
She describes the challenge of picking up Cafe Egg from Sault Ste Marie then driving back to Madison WI -- a pretty long trip -- then resolving the problem of the hitch with help from Reace and the moral support of the Escape community. Wow!

Gerda - since we "Cheesehead Escapers" have not had a chance to all get together and meet in person, it is great to see this interview. Now I feel like I know you better.
