New Escape on the horizon!

Just got an Email from ETI sales today. Seems that later this year there will be a new model announced. We had just looked at a 21' locally and was a bit underwhelmed by the bed and bath. Can't wait to get the specs.
Anyone else hear this?

Mark

It may not be branded Escape, but might be branded Northern Lite ( owned by the same corporation ). It would likely be a four-season trailer ( as are the Northern Lite truck campers ). Been in the works.

HMMM, here is the direct quote: "I have just been made aware that we are in the process of designing a new model with a different floor plan and this should be available later this year! Please keep an eye on our website for updates on this new development. 😊"

Have no idea if it is the you mention above? I would be surprised if I were the 1st to hear, ANYTHING!

I have ZERO idea what any of this means. When I bought my ETI build, for ME... it was all about my budget and the layout of the trailer I wanted. GOT IT. YMMV
I figured out a long time ago, I could chase different layouts and hope for that 'perfect' trailer... not gonna happen (IMHO). While waiting.. I'm having a ton of fun! AND making a whole bunch of memories a long the way...

I became aware that ETI had sold a majority share to a hedge fund back in November 2018 ( I think ). The same fund had bought Northern Lite a year previous. Owners of Northern Lite were happy with the relationship, which is what convinced ETI to sell and benefit from being part of a larger entity.
Northern Lite used to sell trailers as well as truck campers. It was more than hinted that there would be Northern Lite trailers on the horizon.
I've not had any current conversations on the topic, so I could be completely out to lunch.

Northern Lite makes a really nice truck camper with true 4 season capability, perhaps a trailer would have the same capability, similar to a Bigfoot. Weight maybe become an issue with the larger size....https://northern-lite.com/why-northern-lite/

If it is a 21 with something closer to a 19 layout, it will sell well. I know a few with a 19 who would love this.

Totally agree! Better to enjoy now than wait for something that MAY be better later.

Has our attention . A few years ago there were in California and we got to inspect one in our town . Having had a few campers , got to say very impressed with the fit and finish . Also remember very quiet and cool inside on a hot day . Looking forward to see what this means . Pat

New Escape?

I asked sales if she had any hints on what to expect? Here is her reply:

" Well, what I have been shown is a 23’ trailer with a rear dry bath and separate shower. It will have a front walk around bed and a privacy wall. 😊"

I will ask next if it is the Northern Lite?

Mark

As long as it isn't a light 4 season 19 with a reversed floor plan and a queen up front.. Its too soon for an upgrade!

Sounds like a similar layout to an Airstream 23 FB.

Northernlite?

If it’s a northerlite, I am concerned about price, the truck campers are nice but outside my price range. Maybe a new model will generate more used 19s and 21s on the market for me, can’t purchase for two years though when hous3 and truck payments end

My bets always been on a 23. Very interesting and will enjoy seeing what they release, but no interest here. We’ve got the one we want and just continuing mods and improvements to make it better.
Put that Mr Beams light in the bathroom for trip last week, and that is one 5 minute add that is worth it 10 times over.
