I like that new flat, recessed cook top because it has the Piezo ignition and makes better use of limited counter space. Thinking to replace the factory install in my old 19. All I want is to find out what 2-burner cooktop it is Escape is installing, can I buy one from you guys, have it sent to me, and how much that will cost me. Why can't I do that without jumping through hoops?

Myron,
I'm sure with all those attending Quartzite you can get someone to bring down a factory stove. Place a want ad and see who responds.

Jim I assume your trailer has that new flush mount cooktop. Would you please tell me what the brand name is? Is it a Dometic? Nothing on the Dometic site (or anywhere on line) seems to match it.

Happy to help. Sorry for the extra step

The current flush mount stove we install is the Surburban SDS2, part number 3032AST, and costs $362.82 CDN. Shipping is extra. To order please call the office at 1-855-703-1650, and ask for parts & service.

We temporarily stopped listing parts and accessories on the site, until we finish the product refresh, and make the process seamless.

Regards,
David

We will likely have some interim updates to improve the experience before we release something more robust (and easier) to use.
My suggestion would be going all the way back to what worked for customers, until a new site is better than the old one, rather than just a development project in progress. The intended system sounds good, but half a system is not.

If you want to try out the work-in-progress on people who would provide constructive feedback, rather than just be driven away, I'm sure there would be volunteers from this forum.

Myron: Back in July sometime I provided you the make, model and even a link where you could purchase it when you inquired about the newer stoves.

Damn, I totally forgot that, Rubicon, ---belated thank you-- my bad. The price must have scared me off. Jim I went to AirXcell's website but their only suggestion is to go find a dealer. Looking currently now for alternate sources in hopes of finding a steal.

The price probably did scare you off. Almost $400. Escape’s price once converted to USD is $272 so much better. Even with shipping it should be quite a bit less than Dyers. Escape looks to be passing on some of their volume discount on parts.

I'm in the office furniture industry and have represented several Canadian manufacturers and they all have set prices because they have to, no way they could constantly change what an item sells for. They just have this built into their business plans, some days they make more some days they make less. Sure same thing with Escape.

Enjoy the journey,

Steve

That does not work with gas prices, I have seen them go up while pumping.....all electronic anymore controlled by computers which we know are instantaneous....world wide.

The specifications page for the Escape 19' does not have the width listed on the webpage.

The width isn't listed for the 5.0TA or 17', either... width is only given for the 21'.

I understand that errors happen, but I don't understand how something so easy to get right and so trivial to catch in even the most cursory testing goes into production... and stays there for a month.

Nothing has changed, the dimensions are the same as they have been since 2016. Seems someone has that lookback feature and can post the info, Brian BP has done it in the past, how about it Brian, why not repost the numbers? I believe 7'4" for E19, 5.0 and 8' for the E21 if my memory serves me correct.

If you go to the "Catalog" option on the menu bar you can download the new catalog and it does have specifications including width for each trailer.

This catalog also shows the new fabric, flooring and Formica options.

The 17 and 5.0 are 6' 8" (and as were the 13 and 15, I believe)
The 19 is 7' 0"
The 21 and 5.0TA are 7' 4"

Just from memory...
17': 80" (6' 8")
19': 84" (7' 0")
21' and 5.0TA: 88" (7' 4")

Edit: I now realize that Jim already posted these... and he's right about the 13' and 15'.
