Thank you!! I ordered the maple interior for our 5.0 TA that we will pick up April 25th. The 21 has pretty much the same layout from door the looking rearward. (Except for the bath) Nice to get a preview rather than "translating" the 19' layout to the 5.0.

Glad I could be of help to the next generations!

Hi Donna,

The door opens opposite on the 21' layout from the 5.0 TA. I was just in Chilliwack a week ago Wednesday and learned something. The hinges on the 5.0 floor model cabinet below the microwave is still on the loft side of the door. Part of this is that ETI considers the cabinet below the microwave in the 21' the "Wardrobe." On the 5.0 the "Wardrobe" is on the stairs forward of the bath. the Wardrobe in each case has a clothes hanger bar in it. Also the cabinet just inside the door is now one big space without and exterior hatch to the lower part.

See the attached photos I took of the current floor model.

Okay, so the action didn't change on the 5.0TA. BUT, I know my bathroom door is hinged on the right, and other 5.0TA are on the left.

BTW, if you take your pictures (on a phone) in landscape mode with the button on the right, they'll be in the correct orientation for the forum.

Backsplash option?

It’s nice there is a choice now.
Has any one tried to order a back splash as an option?

I thought the oak interior was rather bland and now the new maple interior continues that trend with being even more bland
I wish they offered a cherry or hickory or black ash interior

I saw some really cool peel & stick material at Home Depot. Looks like tile. I might look into that. I agree, it looks naked and unfinished without something there.

Thanks for posting these pics in maple. Picking up a 19 in Maple in May. Maple always starts out real blond, but gets mellow in a year or two. Always associate Oak with those brass and fern bars of the 70's, so I was super excited to have this option.

Then you probably wouldn't like these two small bookcases I made out of tiger maple.

I like tiger maple, not sure how it would look in a travel trailer though.
Enjoy the journey.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but is the backsplash unavailable with both interior wood options? Or only omitted with the maple? The latter doesn't seem to make sense, but I figured I'd ask.

Tiger Maple....amazing. There is a house in Lima NY built in the 1800's where all the interior Window trim and Moulding is tiger maple.

The original oak interior will still get backsplash until they discontinue I guess. I'm not sure what the future holds regarding the oak, but for now I'm getting it for late April completion and was told it will have backsplash.

Jim confused , the backsplash is formica not wood . So ? If it were me I would add something for backsplash . At least the stick on tiles . Pat

Yes, the backsplash matches the counter, but only can you get the backsplash with the standard oak interior, the new maple interior has no backsplash, of any kind.

Correct. I confirmed that when I was in Chilliwack the last week of Jan.
