We just got ours.
It is a very long and complimentary cover story, that is mostly correct.
I wonder if this exposure has anything to do with the new ownership.

More likely, it has to do with whatever advertising agreement ETI made with the magazine. Kinda like Motor Trend's "Truck of the Year" depends on how much advertising it bought ( or so it is alleged ).

Issue has a great article on Mohican Country here in Ohio. Mohican State Park is about twenty minutes away. Headed there in a couple weeks for a first trip with our young Lab pup.

The award seems to rotate among the major players

The "rules" for these awards usually include that the model is new, or newly updated. That means that unless two major brands release new versions in the same model year, every company that releases a new model gets to be "truck of the year" that year. It also means that a company can release a complete rolling pile of crap, and as long as it is the only new model that year, it wins.
The Pinto-based Mustang II and the Renault Alliance both won Motor Trend's Car of the Year when first introduced.

Alf I think that award should go to Jim Norman for picking up his fourth brand new Escape this year

Thank you Adrian, it has been tough, but someone had to do it... I asked for an Escape Sales hat due to the many sales I have helped create.
