Who is it ??

My nephew took a picture of this 5.0TA in the parking lot at Drakes Island Beach, Wells ME which is about a half mile from our home... WHO IS IT ??

Whomever they are, they left the awning bumpers on unless they are a different style of holdback straps.

I like the warning sign on the side. Wonder if it would cause problems trying to go into Canada?

I wonder what the pin weight is. Truck sets low in the rear. Possibly because the hitch is aft of the axle ?

The pinbox extends substantially forward from the visible bolted joint, so the hitch is not likely much behind the axle. Even if it is a few inches back, that would only make a few percent difference in axle load, although even that bit won't help.

It seems that in current full-size pickups the rear axle weight rating is high enough that the GVWR is likely to be violated before the GAWR(rear), so I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
