Altered:Nozzle
A co-worker backed this kickstarter and had a few extras, so I figured I'd try one out. They claim the "mist" mode uses 98% less water.
+ way lower water usage. It takes easily 5x as long to rinse stuff off as a normal faucet, but that still means 90% less water. I put it on the bathroom faucet and try to rinse small dishes etc there when I can.
- Kind of finicky - ours is basically stuck in the mister mode, which is OK. Install was a bit tricky as well. So far it hasn't fallen off or anything, though.
- Only fits on the bathroom faucet, not the kitchen.
Ideally, I'd want the "mist" mode as a stable toggle option on the kitchen sink instead, and maybe something similar in a shower head. Probably still worth it for the bathroom faucet if you're trying to stretch your water tanks boondocking, though. The combination of this plus an oxygenics showerhead has made a noticeable difference in how long we can go on a tank.
