Bag for 5.0 Fort Knox Lock
I found a bag that's a great fit for the lock by Fort Knox for the 5.0. The lock is closer to 15" but this bag is marketed as a 12" bag yet it's a perfect fit for the lock. Very heavy duty bag. 12" Massive Mouth Bag by Toughbuilt

It's pretty readily available at hardware chains and Amazon. Happy to supply a link but wanted to let folks make their choice of place to purchase.

Amazon works, best thing about having a link is getting the exact one that works for you.

Interestingly, these bags are not water resistant. according to their website.

I would say no more or less water resistant than any other heavy cordura type bag. YMMV

Seems to me you wouldn't want it to be water proof. It wouldn't breathe. If you put the lock box portion inside and it was damp/wet, it would rust. Chips happen in the powder coat...

I would agree. I have a close fitting, cardboard box to store mine and keep it from pummeling anything in the immediate area to bits as we drive down the road.
Honestly, in retrospect, I think the lock is overkill, but glad I have it.

Bags
I don’t have a lock like that but I do find those heavy cordura bags pretty good for protecting and carrying bulky, oddly shaped items. The Husky bags are pretty good. My favorites are Bucket Boss products including their wrench and tool wraps. The larger bucket boss includes a good strong shoulder strap.
The last few years, in their Holiday season flyer, the NAPA stores have had a small bag for about $6. Not too bad for the cost. This past holiday they also had Grease Monkey gloves 3 pairs for $10. I got some for protecting my delicate hands when I’m working around chain, big bolts and hitches of all types. They’re good to have especially around cable. I hate getting poked by cable or wire, always gets infected. I suppose you could help water resistance with some kind of an aerosol fabric waterproofer, I’ve not found the need.

I ordered one. Luckily I had some credits from extra wire I returned from my wiring job.
I’ll feel better with that heavy lock in a bag.
