Best Shower mat

Hi! We are searching for a good, durable product for the wet shower/bath floor. With the possibility of us using our shower much more, we’re looking for a comfortable mat, thick enough to stand on, while allowing the water to drain through the mat.

Any suggestions for a comfy one, preferably mold-resistant?

TIA.

I have used these bamboo wood platforms in all my Escapes. Raised off the floor, always dry and clean, keeps it nice....

This is what I used: https://www.amazon.ca/dalles-caoutch...3659803&sr=8-6

Easy to cut to the perfect shape, and easy to roll out of the way to access the drain

I use a battery operated fan to help dry bathroom out after using shower. My fan is made by Rigid from Home Depot. I have many batteries from other tool purchases.

The teak or bamboo mats look very nice. We have a teak shower stool in our home shower, and it’s held up very well. No mold issues at all. OK thanks for the advice!
And I appreciate the links as well.

Did you have to cut it?

We have a wheel well that will require modifying the platform.

I did not cut the one in the E21 but there is a 2" gap. In my E19 I did cut one to join 2 smaller mats. So you decide, the floor in the E21 is bigger so the mat is larger.

I am looking to get one of the bamboo shower mats for our Escape 5.0 but cannot find the dimensions of what size would fit. Reading your comment about wheel well, I am wondering what you might recommend?

Thanks a lot for sharing the right link! Really beautiful work on your part there...

We have no such skills, and do not own anything more complicated than a screwdriver. But it gives us an idea - and we might be able to commission someone to build what you shared for us. It will have to wait as we will only get the Escape 5 at the beginning of June. So, I am on the buying phase to have things to furnish it with - hence the question. Anything custom will need to wait until we have it.

Many thanks!

Bath mat

We purchased this for our 21. It fits the floor perfectly!
Since it’s flexible, it can also be cut to fit other floor sizes.
