Christmas shopping

What is your favorite camping related Christmas gift you’ve received or given to another person?
Something you use all the time and it gives you joy because “it’s a good one”

Garden kneeler. I used it all the time - hitching/unhitching, cranking down the stabilizer jacks, getting the stinky slinky and dumping, checking tire pressure, etc. Any time I need to get down on my knees to do something the kneeler makes it easy and comfortable, and the handles help me get back up. You can also flip it over as an extra seat.

That's an easy one for me to answer. A couple years ago my daughter gave me a Thermapen food temperature probe for Christmas. Near-instant temp readout when grilling or cooking. I really like it.

Almost ren years ago my brother in law gave me a rain jacket. I’ve probably used it only a couple times since then, until the cross country trip. Wow that jacket came in handy. Also, it was the advice of this group to pack for all situations….

Hmm, takes some thought. My sister gave me a great LED lantern but I use that at home for power outages, not while camping as once it isn't light at night around here it is too cold to sit outside. Another sister gave me a small wall hanging which is now hanging in the trailer, but I don't "use" it, it just hangs there. A friend gave me her Biolite fire pit and I do use that a lot for both fires and charcoal grilling.

For gifting: this headlamp

It works great, recharges, and lights up a large area.

Some of our favorites that we use all of the time:
Crocs (don't judge me) perfect to slip on and take the dog out. Use thick socks in the winter
Wilderness RV Mattress - I hear Escapes have great mattresses but Rpod mattresses suck so we replaced ours. A good night's sleep is priceless!
Indoor/Outdoor thermometer - Tells you if you need socks for the Crocs
Patagonia puffer jacket - Mine is going on 8 years old and still keeps me warm on cold days. Incredible temperature range
Plug in electric heater with fan - when you have shore power use it instead of your propane. We picked up an old Vornado 18 years ago at a garage sale for $2. Works perfectly to keep the trailer warm on chilly days

I have zero relationship with any of the companies mentioned.

I hadn't seen the broad beam headlamps before, I think this will go on my wish list. I am not sure the link is working right, as I get an AAA model (but it does say it takes rechargeable AAA's). I do see lots of USB rechargeable models.

Thanks for the idea!

We find neighbors using them to be usually annoying- kinda like LED awning lights but worse.

there are various kinds of hitching sticks. The attach to the TV hitch and trailer coupler to help you align the ball under the coupler. I often use them with my old truck, but the new one has a backup camera.

Oh, I didn't know they were called 'hitching sticks'. I've used the colorful balls on extendable magnet-mounted balls for years.

Err, that's magnet-mounted stalks. Apparently I passed the editing window.
