E19 Cover Recommendations
We are taking delivery of our E19 in about a week and a half (yay!), but ETI just informed us that they are out of stock for the covers that they usually ship with the 19s. I've found a place to purchase that one aftermarket, but I've heard mixed things about it. I'm looking for a recommendation for an alternative option for the 19! Bonus points if the top allows for at least some light to hit the solar panels to top off the batteries while in storage. Thanks!

Calmark. More expensive than the mediocre covers offered by Escape but very well made.

If you look at my post yesterday in "Winterizing..." I gave a review of my Adco cover after 7 years in the rain forest.

Hi Ron, I did see that, and definitely appreciated the info! Adco is the one that ETI ships correct? Seeing your review was definitely a check in the "plus" column for that one.

I don't know if that's what ETI sells as I bought mine at Camping World.

Escape was selling covers by Classic Accessories the last I heard. Not very good reviews. Adco also makes a custom cover with Sunbrella fabric that competes with Calmark.

I have a 2019 e19. The cabin part is 16' - so do I need a 19' cover or a 16' Cover? I've read on this forum that a 19" cover has excess material that flaps around.

I think I got the 19' Classic Accessories cover included by the previous owner of a 2017 E19. It was way to big and hung on ground but did go over front box, propane bottles and spare tire. I found cover vents didn't line up well, gathered water along ground perimeter and door location didn't match up well for access. I dropped in at Escape and got the smaller cover for the E19 shell. I used it last winter here in the PNW and found it was a snug fit on shell only, but, the door was perfect spot and there was no movement in wind. Solar charged batteries through cover. For me I was happier with this smaller cover.
The cover doesn't go over spare tire so I removed and placed in shed. I used a BBQ cover on box/propane. Care needs to be taken for solar panel with a pool noodle securely fixed to not slip off sharp corners in winter.

If you call Calmark they should already have the proper dimensions of the Escape trailer models for a properly fitting cover.

Calmark covers are definitely well made. However, the Calmark cover on my 15B is too heavy to allow any charging of the batteries via solar while the trailer is covered. The ADCO cover that I have used on my 19' for the past 8 years (and is still in good condition) allows the solar to keep the 19's batteries fully charged while covered over the winter (provided there is no snow on top of the cover).

I think that we assumed that we needed a 19' for our 19. Which is why it covers our 21 from the rear to the hitch, including the box and propane tanks.
They do, however, have straps that allow you to snug up excess material.

Not really. Calmark needs a profile photo of your trailer before they will take an order. So you cannot order from them before delivery.
I mention this as a person expecting to take delivery of an E-19 in a month, wanting to have a cover for it.

Good to know. When I tried to order a cover a few years ago they said they didn't need dimensions but just a couple questions answered about options (awning, AC, antennas). The need of a photo now is a challenge for a pre-order. I guess you could use a photo of someone else's trailer with the same options.

You'll see in my updated comments on my ADCO review my comment that surprisingly the 15'-18' fits well on a 21.

Question: Can 1 person put on and take off the cover ? I will not have anyone else helping me and weight of the cover may also be an issue.
