I agree...use whatever you want..however, induction puts out HUGE amounts of EMF....aka as radiation. In fact, they release more EMF than international standards permit. Some mfgrs suggest you stand a minimum of
18" away as the EMF dissipates rapidly with distance. This may be no problem in a commercial or residential setting.......but using them in a confined space ......in addition, women who are pregnant and children should not use them.....to be fair.......your two year old shouldn't be cooking your dinner anyway. Again, I could care less what people use......and love innovative solutions...but it may be worth a little research. Often what works and is safe in a residential setting doesn't translate to our little trailers.

Could not agree more! We will be living in our Escape full- time and will be doing a variety of "camping". We ordered our trailer without the stove top or cutout and will use induction inside and propane outside for cooking. Induction is not the same as an electric cooktop, which some people don't understand. I love the instant on/off of induction cooktops. To each his/her own.

We’re thinking of doing the same thing with regard to no stove top or counter cutout on our May 2022 build. Did Escape offer any kind of cost reduction to you (since they didn’t provide the appliance nor the material and labor to run gas lines during construction)? Thanks.

Yes, we received a small credit to eliminate the cooktop.

Just don't hug whatever you're cooking. You probably shouldn't press your nose against the microwave oven door to watch stuff cook, either.

Did you have propane run to that location, and did you have them cut out the countertop for different stove? Just curious. Thanks.

Forget the stoves. I'll go to Wal Mart and get tailor made sandwiches. They are reduced when the mystery meat turns green.

Another reason for camping stops at Walmart, their gourmet food selection.....

They run and cap off a propane line. They do not custom cut the countertop. I have the Dickinson cooktop waiting for the trailer. Propane run was important to me since we are getting the spray foam.

Ok, I won't hug my grits and that was just a lucky guess on the microwave
