LOL. The hippie bean bag chairs grow up!

Like the bean bags, I wonder how does one get out of these things?

I get first priority. Oddly, he lies on our concrete patio at home and never gets into a lounge chair there. (Same chairs, different situation.)

I think next to the trailer itself, and the eternal "is my tow vehicle too small" discussion, chairs comes in third for a favorite topic. Does this say something about what we all do when we are out camping?

Just roll out, and pick yourself up.

Some seem to be better than others. It is rare I did in any chair for very long, around a campfire being the only exception.

Campfires and inflatable plastic chairs are probably not a great mix, especially given the size of campfires that some members here seem to enjoy.

But, if you have a campfire, you are not looking to lounge anyway. The only time I ever wish to lounge is maybe reading midday, otherwise I want to sit up. For myself alone I would not bother with a lounger, but the wife would like one and agrees the LaFuma is too cumbersome.

My next seating device I will buy is actually a good folding stool for fishing and playing guitar, like the WALKSTOOL*COMFORT 55XL.

I've got to go with my LaFuma or a copy. I have a full size bed 3/4 ton so no big deal. The only pia is re--stringing it every few years. I have a clip lafuma but I seem to use it on my deck at home. Lafuma. Lafuma.

You're not going to find another chair for $1.99 . But if you want a web chair, that's great quality, you can get it here: https://www.lawnchairusa.com/

I bought two in the spring, with shipping came to a bit more than $100. For my back, priceless.
Holy Moley.....my chair! You found my chair! Wow! Thanks so much....I've been looking for one of these forever. Very happy!

You're more than welcome. My last web chair lasted about 15 years. I expect the two I bought will be the last I'll need to buy. Of course at about 5 times the cost. But so much better made too.

I think Donna has made a very good point in a past post. Basically she was relating how much she liked her web chair because it was so light it was easy to carry to other peoples camp site to provide her own chair. After that post I went looking for a new web chair and discovered how hard good ones are to find.

Thank you for posting the site: www.lawnchairusa.com

They used to make web lounge chairs but they were lower to the ground than the zero gravity ones- not sure I'd want one now, anyway. But they were lighter. I guess they aren't made anymore?

Nope, here one is.

What you're referencing is a chair with a frame made of powdered coated steel. Not aluminum. May as well take a LaFuma... oh wait, I will!

There were a bunch of lighter anti-gravity chairs than the LaFuma which is over 20 lbs. But you are right- although googling web lounge chair I only picked one, there were many.

Here you go- found a number of them on Etsy. Looks like someone makes money buying the frames and rewebbing them.

We just got a pair of Strongback chairs and are delighted with them. They look and pack like a typical umbrella chair but have real back support.

We totally agree, Bill! The first generation was just as supportive, but the hardware needed beefing up. Strongback agreed, and the second generation is much stouter and works flawlessly. The seat and back support is all it is advertised to be. We have two sets, one set for the trailer and one set for other recreations. We bought them for our daughters as well

Don't we wish we could find something easier to transport! We fell in love with the Lafuma knock offs (the zero gravity chairs). We called the first ones we got from Walmart 'Wafumas'. We've tried multiple others and cannot find any to replace them. We also tried not taking them on one trip and now, as Donna says, we'll leave other things at home if we have to but not our zero g chairs!

I just wanna say I've been using these inflatable loungers or hammock whatever you call them this summer and they are fantastic to blow up and lay down in. Doesn't take much space either so just a tip.

Keep in mind there are many different ones out there and quality can vary a lot, make sure to check out for like best inflatable lounger reviews on the web before buying any

Lol, I’d never be able to get back out of these without thoroughly entertaining the campground, but the kids would like them.
