Pop Up Power Outlet

Just letting those interested know that the Link2Home pop up power outlets are back in stock. Amazon and Home Depot are both showing inventory. I ordered one for our 19, I never liked having power outlets in the bed area.

Link2Home Space Saver Pop Up Outlet Station with USB, 2 Power Outlets 15A, 2 USB Ports 2.4A Fast Charge Splash Resistant, Stainless-Steel Finish, for Kitchen Counter Island, Office Table and Workshop $59.99
• EASY TO INSTALL: drill a hole of a diameter 2.4" to 2.5” with a hole saw, remove the ring and slide the body from top, then screw the ring tight from bottom
• COMPACT: when concealed, the socket will sink to only 2.9” inches beneath your countertop desk
• SPLASH RESISTANT: work and cook safe in the knowledge that a splash of water won't cause any damage
• POWER WHERE YOU NEED IT: get access to sockets where and when you need them without having to rely on messy-looking extension cords
• CLEAN LOOK: fully retractable with a stainless steel finish, the pop-up socket lets you add power in a sophisticated and unobtrusive way

I installed one in my E19 table but went with a flush mount unit in my E21 table. With the pop up, it does take up space while in use, whereas the flush mount does not.

So where exactly will you mount it? On the table? In the cabinet wall? The Amazon unit has a regular plug end. Will you hard wire or plug it in to one of the current receptacles? Curious minds want to know.

Mine were mounted on the table in the E19 and E21 and plugged in underneath.

I installed one behind the range in our trailer, and we love using it when needed. Because I filled the cabinetry to the underside of the counter with drawers and cupboards when I built it, you could not place one on the front near the top, and the installed one became the only one in the galley. We have two USB and three 120V outlets, though it rarely gets raised above the first outlet as we don't carry that much electric cooking appliances.

I did not have room for the tall version that Farmerdoug shows, but I found the short version that did the trick.
