Useful Apps

Most have smart phones of one type or another. I did see a campsite related app earlier which I think will be pretty useful.
What apps do you have that are particularly useful?
I found one that I use quite regularly just because it's handy. The recent thread about RV levelling reminded me of this one, and it's free!

I mentioned this one in that other thread - I love it for hiking and biking. Amazing what it can do for such a small cost: MotionX GPS They also have an highway one that is useful for the price:Motion X GPS Drive

I have far too many on my phone. Here is a list (that I haven't updated is a few months). My favorites are Pandora, WRVO (My local Public Radio station), The Photographer's Ephemeris (An app that gives the time & direction of sun & moon rise & set for any date, & place), iBird + (Bird guide that includes audio files), Camp & RV and CampWhere for finding campgrounds, and Campground Reviews for evaluating them, Accuweather, Candy Crush (an addicting game) and CardStar (lets you photo your plastic store cards rather than carrying them - Most cash registers will read them from your phone.)

Here is another one that is great for star gazing... I've been trying to do some astral photography and it has been great in getting a better understanding of the sky at night.

Jon---the app you mentioned CardStar sounds useful but I couldn't locate it...is it iOS or android type app?

Here is the iOS app. I haven't used it, but here is the Andriod version.
