17'A With two 4 Person Dinettes

Has anyone customized a 17"A to have two 4 person dinettes. Thinking of doing this so we would have more room to spread out & do our work during bad weather. The question is, where to put our mattress topper during the day. Any suggestions?

The 2 inches of foam we added to our dinette bed we cut to fit and then had the foam shop cut it in three and cover each section and attach the sections back together again. The three cuts are aligned from the front to the back of the trailer.
So now our extra foam folds up like a roadmap and we usually just stand it in front of the washroom door.
(I know you don't have a washroom in a 17A.)
It works so well that we are in the process of getting foam for the small table and instead of cut into three, it will be cut in half (along the centerline of the trailer) then when folded it should keep the single fitted sheet on it.

Lydia,
I think it would be relatively easy. The framing and plywood top could be disassembled, and serve as components to build a dinette almost identical to the rear. The only things to move are the electrical 120V and 12V outlets. They could rotate, and go on the face of the dinette bench. There is a junction box in the driver's side front corner area for the trailer umbilical, but I believe it is behind where the front of a bench would be.
Photos: build photo showing the front framing; final photo showing the rear dinette which would be the model for the front.
Cushions for the front seats and backs would become the bed, just like the rear dinette does.
