Automatic Logging Out Happening Way Too Fast

Does anyone else have a problem with being auto logged out frequently. I mean, like typing a response in a thread and it says I am not logged in (but I was when I started typing). So I hit the back button and copy what I typed before it is lost, and then log out, and log back in (yes, it shows I was logged in but when attempting to post it said I was not. This is nutty and I do not have this issue with any other RVLife forum (Fiberglass, general RVLife, AirForum, etc)

Is there any way to set it so I stay logged in?

Check the Remember Me box when you log in.
I don't log out and I don't get logged out.

Same thing is happening to me. Clicking "remember me" doesn't stop it.

Also a pop-up banner ad across the bottom of the screen only on this site is annoying me.

I'm on a laptop. Using Firefox 98.01 as the browser, also Adblock Plus. I clicked the "remember me" checkbox years ago. I'm never been logged out and I never see a bunch of ads. Sorry you're having problems.

What app do you have that's sounds an alarm and flashing red lights if someone uses "silicone" in a post?

I've checked my other devices and none of them are automatically logging me out so it must be only this computer. I switched from Win 7 to 10 and back to 7. It didn't seem to like that very much and affected several things. Maybe my auto log out is related to that.

This site makes use of cookies. Check your browser settings to make sure it isn't being overly restrictive with cookies. (Might be under "privacy" settings.)

You can also hit the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page and ask tech support for help. They were responsive when I had another problem.
