Boondocking at Escape owners locations
After meeting so many great fellow Escape owners this past week at the Rally, my wife had the idea of something like an Escape Owners Boondocking section in this forum. The purpose would be if an owner wished to allow fellow owners the opportunity to stop at their property for a night or two while passing through they can post that in the forum subsection and then other forum members could contact them regarding availability.
For example, we have a great location at our home in Salem, OR for such a purpose and would not mind fellow owners parking outside while traveling up/down I5, or staying for a day or two to checkout some of the great local wineries in the Willamette Valley. It would be nice if some others might be able to do the same and we had a place to communicate it.
I know there are dedicated Apps for this such as Boondockers.com and FreeRVPark (not sure if I got these names absolutely correct, but you get the idea), just inquiring if there is enough interest in having something similar for this forum for Escape owners only.
If I have this posted to the wrong place, please let me know and thanks.

I'm not exactly on the way to somewhere but I am at a nice destination if someone doesn't mind driveway camping, I'd be in.
Maybe a subforum on trips/campsites with info?

We have a FHU RV site by our house in northern NM that would be available.

Pete and I have a driveway in Schaumburg with 30 amp electric if someone is passing through the Chicago area.

Some time ago I stepped away from this forum (self-imposed exile) for reasons I will not expound upon, but I do read it every once in a while, and have sent a few PMs to members occasionally. I will break my exile for this “suggestion.”
The “infamous Campsite #1,” though typically occupied by an EOF member in the second half of January and part of February is available to most every other member of the the EOF. Campsite 1 does have 30 amp, water, TV antenna connection, WiFi, and modified sewer (if you have a blue boy and can drag it @120 feet to the septic clean out).
October through early January it is available, and late February through May it is available. We travel much of the summer months and everything is shut down, but nobody in their right mind would want to be in Florida in the summer! Campsite 1 is 3 minutes off of I-75, north of Tampa, quiet country setting. If any “Escapee” needs a place to stop or stay for a while, send me a PM.
