Facebook? GoogleAnalytics?

I'm just curious - not complaining, just curious...

When I go to this forum, when the initial page is being loaded, among the notifications that appear at the bottom left are some that refer to contacting / waiting for / transferring data to/from(?) facebook, google-analytics, googlesyndication, etc. Anyone know what's up with that?

To reiterate, I'm not complaining, not angry, not particularly upset or unhappy, etc. If it bothered me that much, I wouldn't keep coming back. It's just that I try to avoid having anything to do with facebook, google, et. al. when possible.

You’ve been to Facebook and google with that computer/tablet/phone before.

Try going on a brand new system/browser and it won’t have any cookies tracking you.

This is one of the reasons Facebook is under the scrutiny of governments for — tracking people when they aren’t using Facebook.

ps. It’s so they can target you with advertisements

Holy cow, me too. Thought I was the only person in the world with an aversion to Facebook.

A few times I've clicked on a link for a photo on facebook. Gotta look at the bottom of the screen to see if I have the same thing happening. I clear cookies regularly so I hope not.

I loved keeping up with the parts of my family I regularly don’t see, but got so tired of all of the “garbage” with FB that I deleted my account.
