Files and documents - new forum section
Over the years forum members have included documents of interest to the community in posts and threads. We have a new interface for this kind of reference material now and any member can upload a document.
You can see the new section here or by clicking on "files' at the top of the page and also locate the links to upload new content.
To add a new file click "add file" and follow the prompts. Submitted documents are subject to moderator approval before becoming visible to the public and only some file formats (currently .pdf and .doc) are allowed.
Once a file is loaded into the library and approved, other members can download and/or print as desired.
Please note there are some restriction of file size. Please be mindful to reduce file sizes to under 10 megs and the smaller the better

Now I wonder who we can ask @ Escape to provide their info electronically? Otherwise someone has to scan and then transmit the info. I do not have a scanner to do mine, any suggestions?

I'm in for this. I scan most of my stuff to Evernote. (Funny thing is I awoke today planning to do / share this very suggestion using shared Notebooks)
I'll get my manuals, all the latest I hope, up here over the next week or so.

If you have a camera or phone you could try to photograph it. Spend a little time with lighting and composition and you can get some pretty good images to post. The Evernote program that Don mentions has a neat interface to place photos into a note. As a former One Note junkie I made the transition to Evernote and find it a great program. And it is free on iPhones, Droids, tablets and desktops. Since everything is stored in the cloud you can access your data with many different devices.

I attempted to upload a file yesterday, thought I'd succeded, only to get a "You are not authorized to view..." page after uploading. I checked under "My Files", saw that the document was indeed uploaded, however it had an "unapproved" status. Wonder what it takes to get a document "approved".

fourteen more files approved and uploaded and now available, thanks Don. I'm working on the others, one from the Casita forums, maybe proprietary, also the brake controller is specific to your vehicle not the trailer, we all have different brake controllers. Was the inverter installed by factory? These couple are still in the queue.

The inverter was installed by the factory, and the brake controller was also supplied by the factory. Installation was arranged by them as well.
