How to browse pictures by Albums?
Is there any way to view the pictures in the gallery by Albums?
Currently when browsing the picture gallery, photos are displayed by the posting date. I would like to view the albums and then click deeper to see the photos.
Thanks for any help!

I haven't found a way to do this, but you can go to a Category, click on a member's name, and see their albums listed on the right. Click on one, and you get all the photos in that album...

Thanks Jon!
This is a great work around! You get to see all the photos and you can start the slide show on photo #1.
BTW. We decided to purchase a 21 after the Niagara Wine Escape rally, but were to late to get on the production schedule. Now we're waiting, like others, to place our order for 2017. Meanwhile, I love reading this forum and browsing the pictures.
Thanks again!

Hi: pstyer... Two production slots opened up for a few seconds and filled before I could type a letter. Keep watch as this will start again once their expansion plans turn to reality.
Enjoyed seeing you though!!! Alf

If you see a photo that you like, you can find the album for it by looking above where it says albums next to the person's name and profile. Not sure where you have been looking when you ask that question but you can find the album that any photo is in and see the rest of them.
P. S. I asked for a change of Username and this is what I got --- a new account instead of changing my old one when they had the info on my old one.
Now can somebody merge them? They apparently could not change my username as that did not work.

"They" are those with the power to make changes.
You will have to message "them" again.

Name changes and merging profiles are done by the administrators. Glenn, Jim and I are just moderators so we can't help you. Most often the administrators don't look at the posts, that's the moderators jobs. So as has been mentioned, you have to use the Contact Us link to get an admins attention. Click the Escape | Account help radio button and be very specific in the Message box.

I still can't figure out how to do this. Too bad there isn't a separate category where albums can be posted, instead of having to find them randomly, which is what I've been doing. When a photo pops up in the Random Photo area at the home page of this site.
And how do you know when someone has an album? PITA

If you click on a member's name (in the box on the left of their post) you can open their profile. On the right-hand side of the profile page there is a box for Albums, telling you if they have one and linking to it.
This is not really convenient, and when reading a thread the existence of the album for a participating member is not apparent.

Thanks Brian, and no it's not. Now that we have the trailer on order, I want to start looking at travel albums of various places folks have been so I can start figuring out where all I want to go in it. We already know the WA/OR coast and the Canadian Rockies are high on our list, but we need to figure out where! I thought travel albums might help.
I have done a bit of looking via the Gallery option, but was wondering if there was a way to find just a listing of albums. Guess not.

While you can't list all the albums, you can get to an album easily if you click on a particular photo. Here's the order:

Community above contains the albums for anyone who does not know that.

Yes, you can easily get to the Categories view, but I think some of us are disappointed that once you pick a category the images are not grouped into albums. It defaults to Images ordered by date (newest first) and the only control the viewer has is to reverse the order (to oldest first).
This is the URL for this view (in this example, for the Trailer and Tow Vehicles category):
Code:
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/album.php?do=category&catid=2&sort=desc
There are three arguments in this, suggesting that there might be a choice for "sort" other than "desc", or another argument to drive different behaviour... so the forum software may be capable of better but the web page doesn't offer it.

Perfect, thanks! I also clicked on your name off to the left and yep, it took me to your profile and your albums were listed there. For the other folks I tried, they didn't have any albums, which didn't help the confusion level.
I also clicked on one of the random photos that came up and follow it through to their album.
