On the road....INDEFINITELY!

No house, no bills, and got everything down to a small storage unit. Debra and I have been on the road (without camper) for going on 2 years now. We traveled cross country 3 times spending time on the east and west coast (we live for the beach) before buying a ticket to Amsterdam. From there we traveled around the world just making it up day by day traveling through Scotland, England, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, France, Turkey, Morocco, Vietnam, and Thailand over a 90 day period. We then drove the length of Baja spending 1.5 months in Cabo and now reside in Rosarito Beach, Mx. since April. We then decided to take up my old occupation of being a professional escape artist and have been training for the last couple of months for a very unique escape we have developed. When we hit the road this winter we will travel to Fl. and work fairs conventions and the like as we travel about the US in our Escape 19 which will roll off the line end of Sept. We will both be 63 in a couple of months so we thought if we don't "do it" now we never will. Being on the road like this has raised problems that homebodies don't have to deal with. We found this site and wondered if anyone has dealt with this company or know of a business that does the same thing. https://www.myrvmail.com
Thanks to everyone who has helped us and tolerated our questions on the confusing road towards building our 19. Confusing in a very good way because you have so many options. We have been living in the same place for 3.5 months now and are getting itchy for our Sept. delivery.

Michael, I hope you and Debra have a wonderful time doing travelling in your 19. If you ever get your escape routine videotaped, it would be wonderful if you could post it. So glad to hear you guys are getting the most out of your time, makes me want to retire right away and follow in your footsteps (well, without the escape act ).

Hey Michael. Can't vouch for the link and their services. Just want to say congrats on living the dream. Fair winds and following seas my friend!

Certainly envy you that you can get everything down to a small storage unit.
Happy Camping and please let us know about your travels.

When you eliminate things in your life that are essential you find out most often that they weren't that essential after all.

The world is indeed a book Floating Cloud. A book that is impossible to finish.

Congratulations and well wishes. The FGRV site also has information on "full timing". It certainly is tempting!

Michael and Debra, it was great to meet you both and we are glad you picked the Escape 19 and know you will love it! When you get your new trailer stay tuned to the forum where you can get your questions answered and just hang out with the some great people. Have fun on the road and let us know what you are up to..maybe a travel blog would be in order!
