As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. I don't find it a lot different than other forums.

Immediately under the last post, on the left side, you'll see "post reply".
You can also choose to hit the "quote" button if you want a specific post to be included in your post.
You can then preview your post and make corrections etc. or just hit "submit reply".

For a totally new thread, choose the appropriate subforum, and then at the top left will be a button for a new thread.

I thought about it later and then I realized that I'd made a boo-boo.
How could he have posted his question if he couldn't post.

I’m pretty sure I’ve misread and misresponded to posts. It’s easy in this format to write a quick response and mis the mark. I know I’ve done it. I just hope he got what he needed from each response.

I see your post was only 3 days ago. In the old days it wasn't uncommon to have a unit listed in the morning and sold a few hours later. Not so much anymore.
So close to Xmas may not be an ideal time to list. But at the end of the day for buyers it comes down to 2 basic items. Price and age etc. of the unit.
I'd bump up the ad, be patient for a few days, and if no active interest, consider a price reduction.

Consider downloading an ad blocker. I use the free Adblock Plus and don't get any ads appearing when I use the forum, or anywhere else on the web for that matter.
Edit: oops, I see I responded to an old post. It's still a good tip to use an ad blocker, though.

I have wondered the same thing a recent thread discussing the upcoming solar eclipse was closed for no apparent reason.
I see threads getting shut down if it gets political or otherwise is breaking forum rules.

This is the one I was wondering about.
https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...pse-25056.html
Can the OP lock their own thread or was this closed by a moderator? Is there a reason we shouldn't talk about the upcoming eclipse? Or did something happen?

Jack Sparrow has to be referring to this thread he created in the Modifications and Alterations Topic for his trailer. It has been closed for some reason:

Hi YakRv.... Jack here,
You are right, for some reason my thread has been closed and others too by whoever has control of operations here. Don't understand why and so far the mediator and administrator that I have contacted has not had any answers due to they are traveling down south.
Nothing on my thread suggest anything that I can see as wrong.
My thread is " My Escape to Margaritaville Modifications and Alterations" which is things I want to share with members here like Eggscap and others. What's wrong with that....
Hope they will open it up or I'll have to start another.
Thanks
Cheers to ya......... and Happy Trails....... Jack
