Pressure door issue on our 5.0

We have lived in our camper at a state park all summer, so it has had maximum use. We have noticed lately that while the door closes ok from the outside, that we really have to slam it from the inside. Sometimes a few times before we get it latched........anyone else experienced this?

Have you lubricated the mechanism? Also have you checked to see that all the screws are tight? If you remove the screws that hold the lock together and take a look there are a couple flathead machine screws on the inside that can work loose in time and cause a problem. Just my experience and observation. I like the original Tri-Flow product for lock lubrication. Use the little plastic straw for accuracy of application. It is not advised to use loctite on plastic, last time I checked. Easy does it.

Yes, also had similar problem with my 2018 5.0. Tried lubricating latch, with no success. On closer inspection, I noticed that the head of the screw in the bottom corner of the door opening edge was hitting the door frame when the door closed..Apparently just enough to make the door hard to shut and latch (had to slam it to get the latch to catch).
Fixed it by putting a block of wood against the frame at the contact spot and hitting it with a hammer a couple of times. Deflected the door frame edge just enough for clearance and problem went away. Probably could have also fixed by changing screw to one with a flatter head.
