Same photo in all posts...
I am wondering why the following photo keeps showing up in all posts? Am I doing something wrong? Can I go in and manage this?

Strange.
I don't see that pic.

You might want to shut down and reboot your system first. My guess is there's a messed up pointer somewhere.

Mary,
I turned it off and rebooted, but it still comes up on every single post. Weird! Nice fabric on the u-shaped dinette, but it's getting a bit tiresome seeing it! Oh, well.

At first I thought that was bizarre, then I looked at the screen shot in more detail and saw that it's an iPad. For a moment I thought the problem was explained - just the flaky iOS app - but it looks like you're looking at the website in your iPad's browser, not using the forum app. This is presumably a bug with the forum's webserver which affects only whatever browser is on the iPad.
Maybe the old "shut down completely and restart" thing will work. I'm sure it's nothing you have done wrong, and I'm not surprised that it doesn't affect anyone using a regular computer or the mobile app. I just checked with an Android phone: no problem.

That is strange. That's in my Baja Bound thread and neither of the previous two posts have any kind of photo in them. Technology strikes again. Somewhere out there there's an IT person that'll explain it.

Carla Jean,
This is just another take on the old "reboot twice and call me in the morning" refrain but. In order to make sure you have really rebooted the iPad, I would suggest the following:
- hit the 'home' button twice in rapid succession which should let you scroll through all your open apps.
- scroll through them until you come to Safari (assuming you are using Safari as the browser).
- when you get to Safari, swipe up which should remove it from the list.
- power off the iPad.
- power on the ipad, but hold down the home button until you see the apple logo. This should force a clean restart of the iPad
Hope this helps
Leon

While we are on iPads and Safari, I set up my wife's for online banking, and when opening the app, the banking user and password info was retained by Safari.
Talked to my bank and they ran me through settings to turn this "feature" off.

I did the shut down and restart. I'm using my iPad because we are on the road, but I will pull out my Apple laptop and see what happens.

To clear Safari history and data on an iOS device go to Settings --> Safari --> Clear Cookies and Data.

T&R, and to all who responded, thank you. I cleared out my cookies and that seemed to help eliminate that picture!

VBulletin and the mobile version of Safari have had a number of compatibility issues and bugs reported. I won't go into the causes (tech nerd stuff) but I do have an easy fix: install Google Chrome on your iPad and browse the forum with that. I like a full browser version of the forum on a tablet, and I only use the mobile app on my phone. Have had zero issues using Chrome.
