Toyota Dealership Recommendations?

I have followed with interest the reviews from Centex and others regarding their positive buying experiences with Granger Ford in Iowa.

We are in the early stages of looking around for a new Toyota Highlander (not for towing our 5.0). Living in a sparsely populated area we are used to travelling to pickup ordered vehicles (or find what we want on a lot), and do not object to the remote purchase or travel aspects associated that process.

Can anyone recommend a dealership(s) where they have had very positive experiences (like Granger Ford apparently provides) with ordering or purchasing a new Toyota? Thanks.

If you haven't already, try searching / asking on the (doubtless many) Toyota owner forums (I learned of Granger through F150 forums).

Good Luck, Happy Shopping!

I'm been a member of Tundras.com since we bought our Tundra in 2019.

They have a "Colorado" section. It may be worth asking or snooping around there.

We bought a new 24 Tundra from Bighorn Toyota in Glenwood springs in February, they are a high volume dealer so they could probably get you most of what you want. Toyota doesn't take special orders, at least not right now even though their website would lead you to believe that they do. They just build cars and trucks and you have to try and find a vehicle that checks most of your boxes.

We called all around to a bunch of different dealers and it took a while to find an SR5 tundra with the super crew cab, six and a half foot bed, towing package, and 32gl gas tank in any color. We ended up with a white one which was fine with us but not our first choice. It also only came with one key we are still waiting for our second key seven months later. I read that this one key thing isn't expected to change until sometime in 25, but I haven't heard when or if they will start taking orders again.

They marked it down a thousand off the MSRP and gave us a good deal on the extended warranty. I don't know if you can find anything better right now but best of luck to you.

We recently had a great experience buying from Rusty Drewing Toyota in Jefferson City, MO. We're located in Indianapolis, IN and we bought a used F150 Lightning from them sight unseen. It's an awesome truck and the salesman (Drew) and Sales Manager (Brian) both went above and beyond to make sure we'd be happy with the truck, made a very fair deal, and made sure the truck was delivered quickly. They were both super responsive too. We'd definitely buy from them again, and will likely stop in once we find an Escape 19 to pull with the Lightning and begin our travels!
