US Insurance

Good Day Folks.
Our Escape is currently in storage in Colorado and has not been licensed or insured for the past two years since we moved to Nova Scotia. Covid interfered with our plans to bring it to Canada. Our auto and home insurance provider here in NS will not let us insure the Escape as it is not registered here. Our US insurance provider we had in Colorado will not insure the Escape as we do not have our auto and home insurance with them. All clear as mud so far.??
We will be traveling to Colorado in December, picking up our Escape for a extended trip in the South West. I am fairly certain that we can re register the Escape in Colorado but getting it insured is our problem Any suggestions?
FYI we will selling the Escape in April after our sojourn in the South West so are just looking for a policy while we are in the US.
Cheers to all and thanks.

I had my Escape added to my auto policies prior to pick up, just needed the VIN info and good to go.....

To my knowledge both Progressive and Nationwide will insure the trailer without having an auto policy with them.

Mt trailer is insured with Progressive, while my vehicle & home are under another carrier.

Ours is insured by American Family. No question at all about insuring an Escape.

Mines on my AAA policy with the vehicles, but I expect AAA (CAA) would only insue with the vehicle.

Good Sam focuses on RVing, so I expect they would insure the trailer alone. (I have no experience with them.)
