Winterized

I just finished winterizing my Escape. It has a separate valve for anti freeze. I turned on the pump and ran all areas. My question is that nothing came out of any of
the hot water lines. The pump would not go on when they were open. I am worried water is still in the lines

I think you had at least one of the valves for bypassing the hot water heater turned the wrong way. It sounds like there was no flow possible through the hot water lines.
