19 foot Escape ordered yesterday, March 2016 delivery

Hello to everyone on the forum. To date, we have always tented, and are looking forward to comparative Escape luxury starting next year. We organised a factory tour for May 21, drove to Chilliwack and stayed two nights at Cultus Lake, a provincial campground in our tent Big Blue. Night one was wonderful, night two, after having toured the factory, and still talking about whether to take the plunge, we were caught in an incredible thunder storm, soaking everything. Needless to say, we went back the next morning and put in our order. We are home now and still drying out tent, fly, clothes, bedding etc.

We are looking at the options, have decided yes or no on some, up in the air on others. We live only a couple of hours North of Osoyoos. Do you think it would be okay to drop in and visit some of you Escape owners at the rally on the Saturday? We would love to ask about your experiences and opinions as to options, towing (which scares me, never having towed anything) etc.?

Welcome to the the forum. Your going to love your Escape and popping by the rally and talking to other owners would be an excellent way of deciding on options, if you don't mind lots of differing opinions LOL.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers
Doug

Smart choice! We too were long time tent campers before choosing our Escape 19. What a difference.

By all means, you should stop by the rally. No trailer needed! You'll learn a ton and meet some very nice folks.
