Another Escape headed to the Land of Enchantment

Just wanted to say hello and thanks to all the folks here for sharing their expertise and experiences. We have a 21' on order with a March 16 completion date. Will pick up on the 23rd. My wife and I have two boys (7 and 3) and are coming from a pop-up and previously many tents.

We initially had an August date but got moved up thanks to one of the posts here. Sold the pop up the next week and now we wait.

-Mike

Welcome!
I would suggest that the wait is the hardest part of owning a new Escape, but well worth it.

Well, that is good news! You hardly can call it "wait". In no time it's March. Congratulations!!

Quite a step up! You’ll so appreciate the comforts that an Escape trailer can provide! Once you get back from the west coast where are the places you hope to visit?

Congratulations Mike. New Mexico needs more Escapes! Myron is getting lonely. [emoji23]

Surprisingly there is a 21' escape two blocks away from my house already. That definitely helped convince me to pull the trigger. We plan on a southern UT camping trip on the way home, and then plenty of NM camping as well as road trips to the Southeast and California, semi-annual trips to the greater Yellowstone area, Colorado, and UT. Looking forward to it.

Congrats! Our TA has spent many a night in NM! Have relatives in Albu, and last year commuted down there from the Bernalillo county campground, really nice. This spring we’re headed out to City of Rocks! Just as an aside, if you haven’t been to Vernon’s Hidden Steakhouse, it’s great. And don’t forget about a visit to Big Bend!

I went to the balloon festival (bucket list) last October; the group I was with stayed at the Bernalillo KOA. I have to say the folks who run the place were superior and the grounds and rest rooms are the same. Bonus: you can walk to the back gate and to a pub for beer and dinner. The food was good!
