Do you think that the 21's AC is noticeably louder than your Casita's?

I'll be selling my Casita but only after I've picked up my 21 and have it all decked out to my satisfaction. The 21 isn't scheduled to be completed until early December so I'm probably not a solution for your friends timetable.
WE will let you know if we get out somewhere close. Yes the air conditioner is way louder than the Casita.

Hopefully my friends will have a Casita by December.

Love Double Lake and haven't been there in a while.

Hmm, I think our 21 A/C is more quiet than the roof mounted version on our Casita 17LD was. If you have the digital thermostat option, the fan cycles with the A/C, so it shuts down when not actually cooling - makes zero noise then!

Air conditions and noise are a huge thread on the CasitaForum. I think it depends on the build year of the Casita whether or not the A/C is a quiet one or one of the new noisy ones!

Small world. We live in Cape Royale just a few miles from Double Lake. Drive right by it most days enroute to Houston. We are taking delivery of our 19 on August 13th then a leisurely three weeks on the return. There's a cluster of Escapes in the Houston Metro Area. Sounds like a gathering in the making.

Yes JStelly, a gathering early next year of Houston Escapes would be pretty cool. I've driven by Cape Royale many times. Wolf Creek Park near there has some nice lakeside campsites, and I used to ride by there often during my bicycle racing days.

I can see that my AC research will need to continue for awhile longer. Living in Texas it's a rather critical RV component.
