Another Oregon 5.0TA
Hello Escape Owners,
We are in line for a 5.0TA that is scheduled for completion the 3rd week in June. We are excited and anxious to make the trip to Chilliwack, and to meet Reace, Tammy and the ETI folks.
We want to thank Donna for showing us her 5.0TA in Portland. It was easy to decide on Escape after seeing hers.
We also want to thank all of you that have been active on this forum. It has answered most of our questions and helped us to prepare our build sheet due April 1. Thank you all so much!
We look forward to joining such a special community.
Marty & Joan Hutchinson

Thank you Rossue, we have had a pickup camper for many years. We are looking forward to changing to the 5.0TA fifth wheel. We haven't yet decided on how we want to setup a tv.

Thanks Donna!
We really appreciate you showing us Ten Forward! We are excited to get our 5.0TA, not so sure about naming yet?? If we have more build questions could we possibly plan another visit before April to see Ten Forward again?
Thanks
Marty & Joan

Congrats! Be sure to let ETI know that Donna is your referrer. They send a nice check to any owner who refers someone resulting in a purchase.

I think Donna D had two locations set up for the tele in her 5TA, not sure she installed a unit in both locations yet. She'll chime in on them, I'm sure.

I'm thinking a swing out arm mounted on the passenger side wall between the dinette and the stove for viewing from the dinette and another in ETI's standard spot between the bed and the door if you prefer to watch from bed.
For those with 2 positions, does the Jack antennas amp drive both?

I will be mounting one on the wall next to the stove in the dinette and one on the closet wall in the loft. The television mounting in the loft will be as large as I can get to fit. I decided that was the best place for it, as the bathroom, etc. are wide enough to hide the backside from viewing at the dinette. It's a visual thing for me

That makes sense. I guess it depends on whether you want to look slightly to the right or to the left while in bed. Who knew you leaned to the right Donna??

Ken,
I had my 5.0 TA set up with (2) locations. One in the dinette next the frig (Reece pre-cut the mounting screws so they would not penetrate the frig. The other location is in the loft on the passenger side. I have not bought the TV yet, but will most likely go with a 24".
Good luck and congrats on your new 5.0 TA!

Scuba55 - thanks for the info. I am thinking of somewhere in the middle area, either side, higher up, middle area of the kitchen, maybe between fridge and microwave or the other side in the middle same position. Also thought about having a reinforcement on ceiling and letting the tv hang in middle of kitchen area, ( hanging on a four point swivel bracket).
May also have the tv connections on opposite wall of loft ps. Might have to do 2 locations.
Probably will have to decide when we visit to finalize the build sheet.
More ideas welcomed.
Thanks again - Ken

Actually I sleep on a twin airbed mattress and it's up against the cubies on the drivers side. Lots of empty floor room on the passenger side. So, I'll have a straight ahead view.
