Belated Hello

Hello,
My conscience started bothering me because I have joined this forum and have been following the useful information you folks have posted for quite awhile. My wife and I have an Escape 21 on order and plan to pick it up sometime in August. We have been camping using a trailer of one sort or another since 1976 (before that did the tenting thing) and have always camped with our canine companions/family. I really enjoy those posts that show your 4-legged pals enjoying their camping trip as well. We started out with a used Coleman tent trailer in Texas (that we took to the Yukon on one trip), then went to a 1989 Scamp 16 (when we moved to MN), a 2004 Scamp 5th wheel, and last fall ordered the ETI 21 after visiting the plant in Chilliwack with our current GSP (14-1/2 yrs) and Russian Wolfhound (~7 or 8 yrs). Judging by what we saw in Chilliwack and all the good reviews on this forum we are looking forward to using our new trailer. Thanks again, and best travels!

Vlad

You did the right thing: following your conscience, and following your heart by ordering an Escape! Congratulations!!! And welcome!

Franklin and Hershey, our 2 labs have been campers for the past 8 years and both have several cross country trips under their collar, so to speak.

The two labs sure look comfortable and I see another feline member. Does he/she get to go camping as well? We have a cat, but he gets "jailed" when we go camping.

We have 3 cats, all rescue or found us as both our labs are also rescue. Hard pressed not to rescue a chocolate lab called Hershey as we are less than 3o miles from Hershey, Pa. The dogs travel but the cats stay home with other family members.
