Bluenosers headin for Chilliwack

Hello sports campers. Glad to be here. Excellent site. We are switching equipment (TV & RV) for the next phase of our roadtrip journeys. This past 2 decades we have had the pleasure of chasing the breeze with a nice little bumper pull trailer and 3 truck campers that have served us well. We are heading to ETI in Chilliwack spring 2019 to pickup our 5.0TA. In the mean time, we will simply pace the floor, look at maps, check into this website daily to view new pictures of other people's Escape trailers !! Hurry up Spring.......so we can go for a little drive to BC from Nova Scotia. Cheers to all.

Hi Lammer,

You will probably drive right past us on your way out to the spring pick-up; we're in Sudbury right on the Trans Canada highway, cool. Been to Nova Scotia a few times and have some good friends there. We'll have to crack a couple of good ole East Coast ales, Moosehead perhaps? at the rally. We're leaving Sudbury around mid May picking up our 5.0ta and then heading to the rally om May 23rd.

Hi there Marsman. How's she going ? Yes, we will be taking that route thru Sudbury on the trip out west. We've been to Sudbury on previous adventures. Be nice to get back to Sudbury. Imagine on the venture back to the Maritimes, we will take 11N and swing by Hearst and The Kap. Love northern Ontario !! There is a good chance we will be at the Rally in May......and see ya there. Take care. Happy travels.

Hi Steve Clark. Thanks. We seen our first Escape trailer in a New Brunswick park about five years ago. It was immediately obvious that this rig was a quality piece of kit. Solid units built to last. It was time to take the plunge. Happy travels.

Gonna be a great time getting your new camper! We’ve just signed off on our build sheet, and it will soon be entering production. The list of options was pretty awesome, and sometimes overwhelming, especially since we took the first confirmation date and had little over a month till signing off. But we got through it.

Hi Rrgramps, I hear ya. We just signed off on our build sheet a few days ago also. Submitted it 3 weeks in advance of our deadline. Decisions decisions and at times overwhelmed indeed. It appears there is some new standard options on the 2019 models (flooring-fabric on seats-maple in lieu of oak). Anyway, we are pumped and look forward to picking up the darling and hitting the road !! Have a good day. Cheers.

Lammer,

Just in case you don't know that new interior is available to anyone with a build date after Feb 2019 for no extra charge, we just changed ours to the new interior. FYI

Hi Marsman, you are ahead of us on that change to the new look. Colleen had already picked out a dark counter and darker floor and this just turned her world a little cockeyed. Of course I am saying YEA, we can save that money. So yesterday we ordered Formica and flooring samples of the new look, I do have my fingers crossed, but I wont be surprised when the shade isn't quite right. Happy wife, happy life as they say!! Ronn

Ronn,

I'm a bit worried about the actual shade of the maple as well, one good thing is that my wife chose a black counter top, really dark flooring and pretty dark fabric, so the lighter shade overall should be OK. Also I really like the frosted glass on the doors. Today I was at my sisters place and she just bought a new closet system from IKEA and then she bought LED dots for lighting up their interiors, they're little led lights that run on battery (apparently for countless hours on one charge!) and so i'm thinking of placing them in some of the cabinets for those intimate mood lighting required evenings where you need "just enough" light

Hi Lammer

I hope we have an opportunity to meet at the Rally. We are planning a trip to Nova Scotia and will have some questions about where to stay and what to see.

If you plan on touring BC while here I can provide some suggestions.

Hello Red. Thanks for touching base. If we do get to the Rally, we will certainly see you. We want to be in the lower Mainland area around that time frame. If not attending the Rally, I can talk to you on the phone/emails or via this forum with tidbits of Nova Scotia information and spots to camp. We certainly do intend on visiting certain parts of BC this trip and would appreciate your suggestions. Cheers. Talking to you later. Lammer.
