Deposit pending on a new 21 for 2016
Hi Everybody,
I'm a future Escape 21 owner and look forward to all of the assistance I can get planning my build. Thus far I have been quite impressed with the content of the forum. BTW I'm a general contractor in Southern California and plan to do my fair share of mods once I have my trailer. I'd like to post videos of same on YouTube as well. Thanks in advance.

Welcome.
Have to start some sort of rivalry between Texas and California.

Welcome. Lots of friendly members here. I sent a decent amount of private messages to folks asking advice, and always get quick answers. Love how active everyone is here.

Congrats!
Did you have to pay anything above what's listed at the site? I saw someone post in forget-which-thread that the prices will increase for the 2016 models. I don't know if that applies to orders placed in 2015 and received in 2016, or orders placed in 2016.

Congrats M.W.
We also are considering a deposit on the 21. We had the chance to view a 21 recently. It is a great trailer. What was the process for making your deposit. Thanks, Kevin

I have a scheduled completion date of Feb. 4th, 2016. I'll be driving up to collect it, will post video on YouTube. I'd also like to video the factory as well. I'm sure others are curious to see the process.

Deposit was handled by Chrystal over the phone with an electronic signing/confirmation doc. emailed with specifics. Simple.

While reading older posts on this forum, I came across one thread showing photos from a factory tour in 2013 (I think). I got bored with them fairly quickly, but hubby was utterly fascinated by them. He's an engineer; I'm not.
I don't know if this is their current factory as I saw mention in another thread they're in a new location. I don't know when "new" happened.
Here's the link if you want to see it:

And photos/video would always be interesting for others to see. Everyone looks at things differently. I'm looking at cabinets, counter space, the bed and where a cat box can go. Dirk looks at assembly and the technical stuff that I ignore.

Regarding 2016 prices, I was told by Chrystal that the website pricing reflects the new pricing but is subject to change based on exchange rate, etc.
