Escape N00bs
Hey, forums. We are excited to be joining the ranks of Escape owners on January 12th, 2017, when our 19 will hopefully be ready.
It was originally slated for Aug 1, but was moved up. We are very excited. We've been discussing getting a trailer for about 10 or 12 years, and decided on the Escape about 3 years ago.
In the meantime, we have to finalize our build sheet much sooner than we originally thought, so we'll have some questions.

We were moved up about 8 months when someone cancelled their order. Made for a frenzied build sheet (Version 1 though 12) as we had less than 6 weeks to get it in. If you are going to do custom fabric, Escape wants that ASAP as they send it out to get the cushions and valances made.

Congrats on your order, Dean. Not a very long trip for pickup either. I pick up two weeks after you take delivery, but I have a few mountain passes to cross with it.
And fire away if with any questions you may have regarding the build. As you probably realize, there is a myriad of differing opinions on things around here. Just remember mine is the only right one.

That's good to know - we are planning on custom fabric. Thanks for the heads up.

You know all the hype you see and read on this Forum? Well, it's actually all true; this may well may be the best purchase you ever made. I'm probably the most skeptical, cynical person you'll ever meet. And I pick up my second Escape next year too.

Yes, we'll have some questions. I'll probably be asking some later tonight as we have a pretty short window to get the build sheet in.

Wikipedia says "Abbotsfordian", but without citing a reference source.

I've been living in the Fraser Valley for almost twenty years, and I don't think I've ever heard anyone use that term. I guess I need to start referring people to Wikipedia.
