Escapes in Lake Havasu City Az ?
Hello My name is Randy Clary and I own Lead Dog Motorsports in Lake Havasu City Az! I'm Really excited to become one of the New Sales Ambassadors for Escape Trailers! We have a 2019 17B on the way to showcase in our shop along with our other Off Road Teardrops that I help design and sell. We are so happy to be able to show some of the southern travelers what the Escape life is all about and hopefully be able to assist in US Deliveries soon! Our goal is to eventually house some instock trailers and have them available to take home! Looking forward to helping new owner purchases and becoming a staple in the Escape family!

Welcome Randy, are you becoming the 1st dealer for ETI? If so, do you service what you sell?

I would have thought that the new management at ETI would have liked to make this announcement, assuming that it's true.

As of 1800 hrs - PDT, August 7, 2019: nothing in the owners forum from ETI, and nothing on ETI's website.

So, you sent ETI an email asking if you could be a dealer and you're waiting for a response?

We can certainly continue this discussion until it is "officially announced". I can see several benefits from a couple of strategically placed dealer locations within the US. Ease of warranty repairs would be a major one, if needed. In addition ease of pick up and orientation without the border crossing issue. Finally distance to factory travel costs would be impacted, determined by dealer location. Price increase and dealer profit could be offset by travel costs for pick up in Chilliwack. Another major benefit could be trade-ins. We could see the benefit of having the ability to trade in your old Escape for a new one, just like your automobile. That would save a lot of sales taxes for some some owners. Now if I can just convince Escape to locate one in York .....

I thought there was already one in York. You buy one from ETI, drive it to York, then sell it. Repeat often.

I read his "preliminary stages" characterization as "horse way before the cart".

So Escape is selling to dealers now?
Randy Clary
Randy Clary Jim Norman No, We are trying a Ambassador location to help with direct sales in the states! I have a Existing Relationship with the Private Equity Corporation on other levels!
Jim Norman
Jim Norman Understood, thanks for clarifying. Would you also handle the importing and warranty issues if needed?
Awaiting Facebook information on this issue....he states direct sales so it does not appear to be inventory but perhaps consignment?

Talked to Karl today( picking up my 5TA) and he said this is real. They will be remote sales. It’s a good thing.

I have to disagree . Do not see this as good . Lastly like trading in a vehicle , not good , you lose . Better to sell yourself. Pat

This imagine this would add price increases, but maybe for many still worth it.

Yeah, but the York purchases don't come with filled propane tanks.
