Greetings from Humboldt County, California!

Hi All,
My wife and I are getting ready to buy our first trailer...she's going to retire next summer; I retired about a year ago. We've been very interested in the T@b line, but hinky about the inside height and the tiny fridge. We looked at the Casita, but the carpeted walls are too much for us to consider (1970's van, anyone?). Then, about 2 days ago, we stumbled on the Escape. All of a sudden, we think we may have found the balance of weight, height, and features we want!

Very excited to learn more!
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

I well remember the first time I came upon the Escape line. I had been looking online for two years for the right RV with the right floor plan (small trailer, no bathroom) and somehow stumbled upon the Escape. Yippy skippy! And to learn they were made about 45 miles from me was just icing on the cake. What a glorious feeling to have discovered this manufacturer...wouldn't trade my trailer for any other.

Welcome to the forum.
Like the many of us here my wife and I started looking for used stick built trailers and then found the fibreglass forum we became sure this was the route to go. We found lots of helpful people on the Escape forum, once we visited the factory and met someone with an Escape trailer we where sold.
Good luck in your search, lots of informative people on this site to help you out.

Thanks. We've spent hours and hours on the T@b forums and learned a ton, but the Escape has really thrown us for a loop!

There are Escapes in your area. Contact the Escape office and they will give you the names and numbers of owners nearby. These owners have authorized ETI to provide this information and are eager to show off their trailers.

Thanks! My Father in Law always said "Don't trade years of your life for a few bucks." So....I retired at 54 and my wife is retiring at 51. We want to hit the road and cover all of North America. And she'll write a cookbook on how to be a roving Gourmet.

I was down there last Thanksgiving- the kids live in McKinleyville- but no thanks, not again, caught the plague from the grandkids and it took me a month to get better. Anyway I have a 15 which you can't get so it won't do much good to see mine.

I was thinking because you are so close to one of the "good" DMV in CA you might actually get to see some brand new escape drive-bys
