Heading to Chilliwack
Soon will be heading out to pick up my 19' Escape on May 24. According to Google maps, I only have approximately 2,920 miles to travel from Alexandria, Virginia. Not exactly just around the corner! I want to thank Jim (York, PA) for his time and kind hospitality as we viewed his 19' trailer last Fall. Also, as a travel trailer novice, I want to thank all of you that post to this Forum as it has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. I hope to meet many of you as ours paths cross during our travels.

Welcome kbuck
I'm new to this forum as well, and looking at getting a 19, we were going to stop and see Jim's on the way home to ON from NC last week, but instead saw one in Raleigh and a 19 in VA. From all I've discovered in the last month this is a great community - as you know since I see you've been around since last Oct. but now made your first post. Everyone I've contacted have been most helpful and we're now considering a purchase towards the end of the year and looking forward to the trip out to Chilliwack to pick it up.
Have a great trip, if you've not traveled out before consider going one way through Canada and the other through the US! And enjoy camping in your new Escape 19!

2920 miles to pick up a trailer? Now that's one dedicated Escape buyer! You'll certainly enjoy your new purchase and your trip back home. Welcome!

Thanks for the well wishes. Karen, congratulations on your trailer. The pictures look great! Jim, definitely would like to camp this summer. I will contact you when I return in mid-June. I am flexible on my way out so will try to travel the Beartooth Highway at that time. I have reservations at several state and NPs on my back, including Yellowstone and Grand Teton NPs. Good to know I won't be able to negotiate the Beartooth Highway with the trailer when I leave Yellowstone for the Badlands and Mount Rushmore.

I'm betting you're going to have a much more pleasurable trip after leaving Chilliwack than getting TO Chilliwack :
Safe travels... both ways!
