Trailer: 2021 Escape 19
Posts: 15
Hello everyone

We are family of four looking to buy a trailer. We have two boys, three and one year old. We are looking at 17b or 19 to be able to tow with our Kia Sorento with 5000 lb towing capacity.
We kept hoping to go to Canada and look at the trailers in Chilliwack, but today they extended the border closure for one more month again.
We would appreciate any advice and if anyone would like to show us their trailer in Seattle area would be great.
Thank you

Luba

I have a 17b but am on Whidbey (south end) so a little more of a trip. But let me know if you don't find one closer to view.

I have a 17B and daughter and SIL have two boys 4 and 1.

They borrowed the trailer for a weekend. One-year-old slept at front dinette and 4-year-old ended up in bed with them.
I recommend you look at a 19.

We would be happy to see your 17b. I can’t send private messages yet, because I need 5 posts on the forum. Thank you for your reply

Thank you for your advice. I’ve been doing lots of reading on the forum and also think 19 would be our best bet. My husband thought wants to see both.
We rented r pod this fall for a week, we liked it, kids liked it, and that helped us to realize how much we miss outdoors. So we are looking for a quality trailer that will help us get back to nature.

I sold my 2007 17B to a family with a 1 year old and a 4 year old. I cautioned them it may not work out for them. They took one trip and had the trailer up for sale. Concerned, I called them and asked what's up. They said they just had too much stuff, the trailer was too small.

Get the 19, I'm glad I did, but see a 5.0TA in my future.

I have a 2019 E19, near Oak Harbor. It is outside and you are welcome to explore it, wearing appropriate Covid protection, of course.

I cannot imagine camping with anything smaller than a 5.0.

No way. I need room and I need all my stuff. I need my wife.

And I still need a dog!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and advice. Thanks to Bobbie and Dianne for showing us their trailers. We put the deposit for the 19 and put Dianne as the referral person.
