Hello from Alberta

We have purchased an Escape 21, just finished being built end of November. We will pick it up in early May. I started looking at Escape and this site back in May and did a LOT of research for the build. We emailed and talked with Tammy a bit and Joldie a lot, they were great to deal with. We used to enjoy camping as tenters but as you get older it gets tougher and we gave up for a while but are looking forward to get out camping again. . One of the things that impressed me about Escape was that they link to 2 independent forums from their website, you won't find any of the bigger builders doing that. We looked at Tony's 21 in Edmonton and within a few days we had put down a deposit. The one thing we were not sure about is the wet bath but coming from tents the bathroom will be a nice change. This forum also helped us make up our minds as there is a lot of experience and knowledge of Escape trailers and trailering in general here. We're looking forward to start camping again in May.

Welcome to the forum. The wet bath was one of our main concerns too, coming from a dry bath. After 4 years of use I can say it doesn't bother us at all. It does give one a bit more incentive to use the campground showers, wiping it down is the last persons in job. It works fine when needed, some use them exclusively.

CONGRATULATIONS for what will soon be your new home on wheels. You sound like many of us that started out in tents, you just skipped the size part and went straight for 21'. LOL
Like you this forum convinced me that Escape was a quality product and why we decided to move up to it from our 17' Casita.

Safe and fun travels to all.

Steve

Thanks for the welcomes. We probably won't make the Escape rally as the "plan" is to take a week and slowly make our way home after we pick up our 21. We are then hoping to take 1 month ( if I can get it off work) and go out east, Ottawa, to visit one of our kids/grand kids. Just not sure when the 1 month trip might happen yet.
