Hello from CA-Waiting for my 19

Hello,

Feeling a bit overwhelmed reading all the posts on all the options to choose from.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post.

One thing I have not been able to find is where the batteries are placed in a 19 but I probably will figure it out as I keep searching though the forums.

Mary

Hi Mary,

If you get the storage box option (a must have in my opinion) the battery(s) will be centered inside it. There's a platform built in to the center of the box. If you don't have the storage box option then I think the battery(s) are on the tongue where the storage box would have been.

Yes, that is correct, battery(or batteries) are located on the front exterior tongue or in the front exterior optional tongue storage box(highly recommend also you get this option)

Yeah, just haven't seen many photos of the 19 with battery boxes only, since the storage box is so popular.

I think that is the first 19 I've seen without a storage box. And while I do love my storage box, and would not be without it, I will say that is a much cleaner look (in my humble opinion).

You do see the snap on vinyl corner guards that are installed without the box?

Those vinyl guards are gone now, that is an old pic. I removed them and shot those areas with Plasti-Dip that matches the gel-coat. Looks fantastic now.
