Hello from Colorado

We are patiently waiting for our 2015 5.0ta completion date Dec. 29th. We previously had a Casita and loved it. I have been on this site numerous times and have found it to be informative and extremely useful. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the good information we have already received.

Dec 29th is not too far off, how exciting. Are you planning to pick it up then to tow home?

The plan is to pick the trailer up sometime in March. But if its a mild winter there could be a change in plans.

I guess there is no rush, unless you plan to use it for camping.

Hello from Arvada!

It's not too early to start planning the first annual Colorado Escape Trailer round-up.

Don't know how long you have lived in the Front Range area but locals will tell you that March is normally the snowiest month, followed by April. We waited until May to make the trek to Chilliwack last year and still narrowly missed snow in Wyoming.

Welcome to the Family.

There are about 5 Escapes in NM - maybe we could have a NM-CO gathering?? There was a gathering in Utah in 2014...looks like we are getting a critical mass of Escapes.....

My 21 was completed late last February. I thought about going up in March but waited until May and am glad I did, as I enjoyed a leisurely trip and visited a lot of places I had not seen before. Many campgrounds had opened by May, the North Cascades Highway was open, and I enjoyed seeing a lot of flowers from the Idaho Panhandle all the way to Chilliwack. The heaviest traffic was between Sumas and Chilliwack, but it wasn't bad by Denver standards. Hope you have a good trip whenever you decide to go. Eric

March can defiantly be a snowy month here in the Rockies. But we are planning on a move in the spring so time wise that is the latest we can go. I wonder if it would be better to plan on skirting the west coast in March? Dave

I picked up my Escape 19 in March, just watch the long range forecast and be willing to reschedule if necessary.

ETI delivered the camper winterized and I left it that way. Just FYI, I checked every state between CO and BC to find that studded snow tires were legal the entire way. Not exactly an easy thing to sneak past customs.
