Hello from new member in California
Hi Everyone,
I have just joined, following our purchase earlier this year of a 2021 Escape 17, and a 2021 F-150 hybrid to pull it. We are first time owners, so looking forward to gaining insights. 10 nights (4 trips) out so far.

Welcome to the Forum. I love California.
Can you comment on how the hybrid does towing? Do you know what your mileage is?

Thanks for the welcome. The hybrid does great towing, it is really more than we need for a ~4000 lbs trailer, but I prefer that. The mileage is about 14 mpg towing and 20-22 mpg freeway by itself. We've been up/down the Sierra's on most trips so that makes it vary, as does the different driving 'modes' available.

Hi Tom, Welcome & greetings from SoCal. My wife and I are in line for a 17B, hopefully coming in early 2022. Maybe we'll see you up in the Sierra's one of these days. We spend lot's of time on the eastern side.

Hi Tom - Welcome from another NorCal owner. Sounds like you have all the equipment necessary for lots of fun camping. Check out the rally pages, both in CA and Oregon, to give you some ideas for meeting other Fiberglass owners (the Casita Forum is also good to check out). Just returned from the Fall NOG at South Beach State Park, OR, where a good time was had by all. Hope to meet you at one of the rallies in the near future.
